A brainstorming meeting between tourism activists in Khorasan Razavi Province and the CEO of HEGTA

A brainstorming meeting of tourism activists in Khorasan Razavi Province was held at the Homay Hotel in Ahmadabad, Mashhad, with the presence of Alireza Tabesh, CEO of HEGTA.

On December 10, 1403, this meeting was held with the presence of tourism activists in the province, Seyyed Javad Mousavi, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi Province, Madarshahian, Head of the Hoteliers’ Association of Khorasan Razavi Province, Amani, Director General of Khorasan Razavi Province Airports; Nasiri, Director General of Khorasan Razavi Province Railways; Valizadeh, Head of the Agency Owners’ Association of Khorasan Razavi Province, Bidkhuri, Deputy Director of Tourism of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the province, Rokni, Head of the Department of Supervision and Evaluation of Tourism Services, Yavorpour, CEO of Homa Hotels Group, and Mostafa Sharif, CEO of Abadgaran Tourism Company.

In this meeting, the Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the province stated that HEGTA Holding is the largest tourism holding company in the country, with the ownership of the Homa Hotels Group with more than 1,000 beds, Raja Rail Transportation Company and the Iran Tour and Tourism Hotels Group. He pointed out the special importance of Homa Hotels in the tourism industry of Mashhad due to the presence of the shrine of Hazrat Samen Al-Hajj (AS) and the spiritual capital of the country, and offered suggestions for increasing cooperation between tourism activists and HEGTA

Subsequently, each of the representatives of tourism organizations and managers present at the meeting expressed the salient points and characteristics of their field of work and its impact on the province’s tourism, and also offered suggestions for further cooperation with HEGTA Holding to promote tourism at the national level and in Khorasan Razavi Province.

In this meeting, Alireza Tabesh expressed his satisfaction with holding meetings that facilitate dialogue between the private sector and the government, and said that this meeting will bring many benefits, such as getting to know more tourism activists and their understanding of the province’s capacities. The result of these meetings will be resolving the problems of the important tourism sector. He considered the convergence and synergy of private tourism activists and government managers to be the need of today’s tourism and emphasized: Travel and tourism contribute to the vitality and hope of Iranian society and the prosperity of businesses. The CEO of HEGTA continued by referring to the issue of health tourism and said: Considering the level of facilities, the characteristics of tourism infrastructure, medical specialists and standard hospitals in the holy city of Mashhad, and the presence of a large number of travelers and pilgrims in all seasons of the year, the motivation of the province’s tourism trades and organizations, we can hope for the prosperity of health tourism in this province.
