The Social Security Tourism Holding (HEGTA) was established in 2015 (1394 in the Iranian calendar) by the Social Security Organization with the aim of coordination, synergy, and the creation of a value chain within the country’s tourism industry.
HEGTA Holding currently oversees seven groups and investment companies operating in the fields of hotels, accommodation, hospitality services, transportation, tour operations, cultural and shopping centers, and construction and development projects across approximately one hundred locations throughout the country.

– Providing services to tour operators and foreign tourists
– Providing services to colleagues, partners, and stakeholders of the Social Security Organization and the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare.
– Managing the financial resources of investors in the tourism industry
– Creating new businesses in the tourism industry
– Creating wealth for shareholders
– Promoting the status, prestige and “brand” of the Social Security Organization
These objectives will be achieved through the management of resources, facilities, and tourism sites under the Social Security Organization and the affiliated institutions and investment funds of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare, with an approach focused on synergy and completing the value chain.
HEGTA, as the largest tourism holding in the country, pursues a range of objectives, including leading the development of Iran’s tourism industry, preserving the dignity and respect of service recipients, employees, retirees, and pensioners under the Social Security Organization through value creation, offering distinctive products based on Iranian-Islamic culture and innovation, planning and constructing accommodation and tourism complexes, implementing large-scale tourism projects, and providing specialized tourism services based on guided tours.
